I am currently not in any clubs or sports due to my busy schedule but one of my favorite classes
that I have taken is computer assisted graphics. I get to learn a new program and coding and
has allowed me to explore a new artistic outlet. With the knowledge in coding I am able to
create generated art work and combine it with my graphic design skill.
Recently, I've been exploring new dining places a lot. I am a huge foodie and on my free time I
enjoy driving an hour or two just to try new food. In addition to exploring food, I also enjoy
discovering new music. On Spotify, I look for affordable concerts near me and attend them
regardless of whether I listen to the artist. I just love the different people that i get to meet and
the new experience that I get to be in.
My long term goal in five years is to hopefully start a company where I can help small
businesses be successful. I would like for them to have an all in one spot where I can create a
branding design for them as well as handling the production of their merchandise. To get there I
will have to continue practicing with clientele work and also understand the business side of
production.
Being at spyder lab has taught me so much of not only the understanding of how to work the
machines used for production, but it has also allowed me to be able to work on real world
projects. This will be beneficial knowledge for me to work towards my long term goal.
SyderLab has allowed me to work with clients and design for them, teaching me how to
communicate to them guaranteeing the clients needs. I have also been given the opportunity to
teach graphics and machinery, further improving my communication skills. I've learned what it
takes to be a leader and guide a group through a project. All of these skills will help me feel
confident and experienced to be successful anywhere I decide to go in my career path. This is
something that I would have never learned before graduation, which is why I am so grateful to
be interning here.
