My favorite class was classes where we would get a prompt or some sort of order like for logos, posters or magazine by come up with concepts and create it. It takes planning out, sketching, and following guideline to make sure everything is progressing to a finish result with fine tuning and artistic critiques though out the way. I always like listening to music and seeing the visual to hopefully someday possibly make art or code something similar in stage performance. But I also like arts and crafts with hand on things like studio art where you traditionally draw with pencil and paper, sculpt with clay, or make jewelry. I wouldn't mind taking my traditional art to digital eventually, but it is a learning process whether with pictures or digitalizing things to share online or in-person. My long term goals are to be the best I can be as a designer or in anything that I do with a passion for it because that is the drive to be able to maintain motivation. In 5 years, I hope to finish my education route I chose which is Graphic Design and getting a job in the art industry, but an alternative art job that doesn't have to do with my degree is adaptable. I might dabble into teaching or doing something more hands on, but only time will tell. My time in Spyder Lab has truly been eye opening and inspiring with all the welcoming people and the team work involved in completing projects. Team building and working on communication skill is a key to success in any work place and with those traits including good work ethic, anything is accomplishable. I have learned that designing isn't independent but was bigger and broader than it seemed. With different roles to be played in a business or project is to communicate efficiently so the effort is doubled to any setbacks that may arise. I have learned the process of how things are made, printed, and installed to a finished project or order in a business.
